Plough Lane is a great base for people looking for anything from a gentle stroll to a longer walk through areas of outstanding natural beauty.

We are within 30 minutes drive of both the North Wessex Downs and the Cotswolds and also have some excellent walks on our doorstep and within just 10 minutes drive.

We have collected 26 of the best local walks in a folder in our reception area here on site. This folder has plenty of A4 printouts for you to take away so you won’t have any problems finding or following our walks.

Walking from the Site

We have 3 printouts for walks which start directly from Plough Lane itself. Many of our guests also enjoy taking the bus (which stops just outside the site) to the town of Chippenham and following the riverside and town walk there. The printouts for all of these walks are linked to below…
